As a network co-lead for the Build Healthy Relationships to End Violence (BHREV) Social Work Grand Challenge, Dr. Elias-Lambert will help advance efforts that increase access to services and research, aiming to build stronger, healthier relationships and prevent violence. She is excited to continue to support national efforts to increase the availability of services and evidence-based research that strengthens health relationships to prevent and end violence in our communities

Council on Social Work Education

As a member of the Council on Social Work Education’s (CSWE) Council on Leadership Development, Dr. Elias-Lambert will play a key part in developing policies and programs that support and grow the next generation of diverse leaders in social work education. She is motivated to support upcoming leaders in social work education and to continue exploring research related to leadership at the national level

Witness Guild, Expert Witness
SafeHaven of Tarrant County

As a member of SafeHaven of Tarrant County’s Witness Guild, Dr. Elias-Lambert serves as an expert witness for felony intimate partner and sexual violence cases in collaboration with the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office. In this role, she educates the court, including the jury, about the complex dynamics of intimate partner and sexual violence. Dr. Elias-Lambert is eager for this opportunity to support survivors of violence through service as an expert witness

Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center

As a member of the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center’s (DARCC) Advisory Council, Dr. Elias-Lambert provides feedback on the DARCC’s programs and initiatives for both external and internal services and processes. She is eager to help identify opportunities to advance DARCC’s mission and build stronger relationships with the communities the DARCC serves
